The Bean Scale Explained
Here at Cat Hangouts we base our product rating system on the Bean scale. It ranges from a minimum of zero Beans to a maximum of five Beans. If we rate a cat bed a five out of five Beans, that is probably one of the best we’ve ever reviewed and would definitely be a top ranked cat bed. Oppositely, if that bed gets a zero out of five Beans, needless to say, we were not impressed by that particular product and it needs some work.
What are Beans, you ask?!
Toe beans of course!
Have you ever noticed the bottom of your cat’s paws? They have little squishy toe pads nestled between their fur on the bottom of their feet.
To most of us, these toe pads look just like jelly beans, hence the term toe beans. Sometimes when Socks gets the zoomies his little beans go from light pink to super bright pink. Neon beans. Some cats have multicolored beans. Some have coffee beans and they can be either dark roast, medium blend or light roasted variety beans. Some cats even have little blueberries for beans.
Here at Cat Hangouts we love all cats and adore them for their beans among their many other unique qualities. So what better way to rate the products they love than to use the Bean scale?
